Time Square

Time Square is an area of World B1Q64 and Round 1 in Blinx: The Time Sweeper.

Description

Despite being a busy city under most circumstances, Time Square was frozen in nighttime with all of its residents having vanished during the World B1Q64 incident due to distortions in time. As such, the lights in its buildings and streets remained lit.

Stage 1-1

This stage serves as the game's tutorial level during a first playthrough, where it will guide the player on the game’s mechanics.

Chronoblobs (3 Lv1)

Cat Medals

Red - Behind the 16T Weight in the room with the first Chronoblob, requires either the TS-16000 Lv.3 or TS-16000-S Lv.3.
Silver - Under the statue at the beginning of the level, the statue will collapse on it before to can reach it. Requires either a Pause before the statue collapses, or a Rewind to have the statue reform.
Gold - Atop the statue at the beginning of the level. Requires the player to stand on the statues head, and then to use a Rewind to reform the statue.

Sweep up two pieces of trash. As you enter the room with the first chronoblob, use a record. Kill the chronoblob and open the door to kill the next one. After the record is up, sweep of the 16 ton weight, kill the last Chrono Blob and jump in the finish.

Cat Medals

Red - Near the button that opens the door leading to the Spiker and Dust Herder.
Silver - In the area with the Tom-Tom, stand on the flat piece of the statue and use a rewind. The medal is at the top.
Gold - In the area with the last Spiker and Dust Herder, it is on a ledge on the wall across from the entrance.

Suck up the gears at the start. Kill the four time monsters. Suck up a barrel. Ignore the Tom-Tom. Use a record. Shoot the barrel at the wall. Press the button and kill the last two time monsters. Go to the goal gate.

Red - On the roof to the left of the Dust Herder.
Silver - Sweep up the 16 ton weight behind the goal gate. Stand on the machine and use a fast forward.
Gold - Near the first Chrono Blob, it is behind the 16 ton.

Use the regular route through the level, but just ignore gold and time crystals. No time controls are needed.

Boss

Strategy
The Dust Keeper is the first Boss you encounter in the game. As such, the strategies to defeat him are simple.

The Dust Keeper tends to madly jump around the arena, firing off trash whenever the mood strikes him. You need to pick up some trash to arm the TS-1000 when you start this stage, so you're unable to attack right off the bat. It takes four hits to defeat the Dust Keeper. Keep dodging the flying garbage as you sweep up trash for missiles of your own and try to hit the Dust Keeper himself.

Pause and Slow make it easier to sweep up trash and hit the bouncing beast. You find both blue and yellow time crystals around the edges of the arena to activate the Pause and Slow controls.
