Guard Sweeper

Guard Sweepers are a special quadrant of the Time Sweepers that appear in the Tom Tom stages of Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space. When travelling to other worlds, an advance team is set out first to secure an area to be guarded in anticipation of setting up temporary patrols on at least some occasions.

​As Guard Sweepers do not wield time sweepers, they do not have access to time controls and are not as individually effective as Time Sweepers, instead working in larger numbers while maintaining communication between each other by means of their wrist-mounted devices. A Guard Sweeper that has located an intruder, such as a Tom Tom, will often immediately call in reinforcements.

​The weapon of a Guard Sweeper varies with their armour, with the basic unarmoured variety carrying only a PiG-38 and armoured guards carrying the much larger TON16A in addition to a large shield emblazoned with the Time Factory's logo. The armoured variety, though with double the health, are much less common than its lighter counterpart.

Guard Sweepers employ time barriers and mechanical companions to assist them. A Guard Sweeper's time barrier is unique in that it is only dismantled by nearby use of a pause control, which will also immediately cancel out the pause control, unlike when pause controls are used to dismantle a time monster's barrier or a time sphere. ​

K9-1000

K9-1000's are robotic dogs that serve as helpers for the Guard Sweepers. K9-1000s can smell unseen intruders and will latch onto them to impede their movement.  Takes two shots to defeat with gun type weapons, and one shot with missile types.

Robotic Turret

Turrets that continuously scan an area and fire laser-guided missiles upon detecting an intruder. Takes two shots to defeat with gun type weapons, and one shot with missile types.
